GOLF COURSE

January was a great month for us on the golf course. We were able to get a considerable amount of work done with the weather cooperating. We have gotten our bunkers back in playable shape and have been able to fertilize our overseeded areas on the course and clubhouse grounds. We have also been working diligently on debris and leaf removal around the course and club grounds during the winter season. Our turfgrass and landscape material around the course and grounds are recovering from frequent frosts and freeze damage and should recover nicely with proper pruning and weather conditions. Our greens have weathered well through the colder weather earlier this year. They are still in a semi dormant state, which means they are growing slowly but do not require daily mowing. We will continue to roll periodically to supplement not mowing the greens surface.

As always please remember to repair all ball marks on greens and repair divots in fairways to help ensure the best possible playing conditions during this time of slower recovery and dormancy.
