Nutrition plays a significant role in how we feel both physically and mentally. Get a jump start by limiting your intake of sugar and refined carbohydrates. Opt for carbs high in soluble fiber, whole grains, beans, berries and greens.

Begin your day with a healthy breakfast like an egg white veggie omelet with whole grain toast. Snack on low fat yogurt with ground flax seed or a sliced apple with peanut butter. For dinner try a grilled, lean chicken breast the size of the palm of your hand, half of a yam baked and mixed green vegetables.
