FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER

Greetings,

Consistent with our new members, April saw a lot of activity throughout the club. We were pleased to see our members take advantage of the great conditions on the golf course and tennis courts as well as dining in the grille areas.   

We have several improvements/projects underway at English Turn. Repairs have been made to the Turnstand structure and roof repairs to the Pool Pavilion and Clubhouse. The ladies locker room is receiving a “facelift”. Additional projects under consideration are the replacement of the carpet in the main hallway and men’s grill as well as purchasing some new equipment for the Maintenance Department.  

The Easter Brunch was very well attended. Thank you and a good time was had by all!

This month is the Mother’s Day Brunch on May 13th from 10am to 2pm. An incredible menu and bottomless champagne and mimosas await you. Also John Gillis Jazz Trio will be playing your favorite musical selections. If you have not made your reservations, please do so. 

Another sure sign of summer is the opening of the pool. The pool will kick off the summer on Friday, May 18th with the live band “No Idea”. Please see the calendar and pool section for times and dates of other happenings in your club.
