Happy summer everyone! I know it’s time for bathing suits and flip flops, but don’t forget about the holidays. The holidays will be here before you know it! Call me at 504.392.2200 to plan your holiday party at the club house. Chef Bart is creating an amazing holiday menu for plated dinners and cocktail receptions. The Clubhouse will also be decked out with Holiday decorations and lighting.

Katie and I can take care of all the details for you so you can be stress free during the holidays. In the meantime enjoy the sunshine and summer vacations.

THIS MONTH’S RECIPE: GULF BLUE CRAB SALAD

Seafood is such a big part of our lives here in Louisiana. I thought everyone might enjoy this simple salad recipe for the summer months. It can be served on toast points, chips or just eaten as is.

1 lb. Lump Blue Crab, Fresh not Pasteurized
2 tbsp. Sour Cream
1 Lemon for Lemon Juice
1/4 bunch Chives, Sliced Thin
To Taste Sea Salt & Black Pepper

DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients together and chill for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator, so that the flavors are melded together. Be sure not to over season to start as the flavors will intensify in the fridge. The salad will keep for about two days well refrigerated.
